The Persian Gulf War was the first major crisis to take place after the cold war. It threatening the worlds oil supply and many lives were lost during the war.

The Persian Gulf War was a turning point in history by impacting many families by losing family members in combat. It effected the United States and it's allies economies. Persian Gulf War Effect on Society
The Persian Gulf War effect the the people in our society a lot. From the Persian Gulf War, many Gulf War veterans are suffering now from Gulf War syndrome. Many of the symptoms include fatigue, muscle pain,and cognitive problems. About 250,000 of the 697,000 veterans who served in the Persian Gulf War got the Gulf war syndrome.
The Other Side of the Story
The other side of the story would be Saddam Hussein's side. Saddam Hussein wanted to take over Kuwait because he wanted more land and power. He also believed that he was protecting his country because he thought that Kuwait was stealing oil from Iraq.
